Agneta Spångberg is a ceramic artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. Since completing the two-year Ceramics Program at Capellagården on Öland, Sweden and four years’ studies at the Ceramics Department of the Sun Valley Center for the Arts in Sun Valley, Idaho, USA, she has maintained a full-time studio practice for the past 30 years. She has held several solo exhibitions in Sweden, Norway and the U.S. and participated in numerous international group exhibitions. Her work is represented in several museums including the National Museum of Art in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.
Agneta works with projects for public spaces and private homes, often involving wall designs and one-of-a-kind objects. The walls consist of unique, handmade parts where each piece plays its role. The format is often large and the details are decisive for the whole.
